Farm's ice cream plans are Mooolicious

"FARMER wants his farm to become the new go-to place for ice cream lovers."
John Mitchell of White Heath Farm, Harefield, hopes that selling his treats on site will prove a hit this summer, with the addition of picnic benches and sweet little calves in the
fields to tempt people to come and look round.
His range of 'Mooolicious' tubs are made on site, and comes with a cute twist: each flavour is named after one of the cows. So whether you are mad for Viola Vanilla or Connie's Coconut, 'farmer Mitchell' is certain there will be a flavour for you.
He said: "We want to get people involved. They can come and buy an ice cream, have a look round, sit down and enjoy the sun.
"It just seemed like the right leap for us to make."
The farm, which boasts 150 dairy cows, delivers milk to hundreds of homes in the surrounding area and already sells tubs of ice cream to nearby shops. Mr Mitchell, 44, is confident they can crank things up a notch. He hopes the new stall will prove popular not just with families but also with school trips and for youngsters who want to find out more about what happens on a farm.
Hillingdon Council-owned White Heath was founded in 1957 by Mr Mitchell's father, former Mayor of Hillingdon, Don, and originally just five cows roamed the fields. The somewhat expanded herd of cattle today still bears the names of its four-legged ancestors.
Mr Mitchell hopes to get the stall set up in the next few weeks.
